This Indenture made the tenth Day of
November in the forty second year of
The reign of our Sovereign Lord Geord the third
By the Grace of God of the united Kingdom o
Great Britain and Ireland King Defender of the faith & in
the year of our Lord One thousand eight Hundred and one
between Elizabeth Parish late of Ipswich but now of
Needham Market in the County of Suffolk Spinster of the
one part and Henry Canham of Waldringfield in the said
County Labourer of the other part Witnesseth that the
said Elizabeth Parish for and in Consideration of the Sum
of five pounds of lawful Money of the said united King
-dom as used in England to her in hand well and truly paid
by the said Henry Canham at or before the ensealing and
delivery of these presents (the Receipt whereof she doth hereby
acknowledge and thereof and of every part thereof acquit
release and discharge the said Henry Canham his Heirs
Executors Administrators and Assigns and every of them for
ever by these presents) Hath granted bargained sold enfeoffed
and confirmed and by these presents Doth grant bargain sell
enfeoff and confirm unto the said Henry Canham his Heirs
and Assigns All that piece or parcel of Land situate lying
and being in Waldringfield aforesaid andpart of a certain
field called Rushy Fenn belonging to the farm of her the said
Elizabeth Parish now in the Tenure or Occupation of Joseph
Payne or his Assigns which piece of Land contains b Estimation
half an Acre be the same more of less and is intended to be
Forthwith separated from the said field And all ways paths
Passages Rights Members priviledges Hereditaments and
Appurtenances whatsoever to the said hereby granted and
enfeoffed piece of Land belonging or appertaining And the
Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainderes Rents and profits
thereof And also all the Estate Right Title Use Interest
Inheritance Trust Possession Property Claim and Demand
whatsoever both at Law and in Equity of her the said Elizabeth
Parishof in to or out of the same piece of Land and Heredit[ament]s
As any part thereof o have and to hold the said piece

Of Land and Hereditaments hereby granted and enfeoffed or expressed or
intended so to be with the Appurtenances unto the said Henry Canham
his Heirs and Assigns To the only and absolute use and Behoof of
the said Henry Canham his Heirs and Assigns forever And the said Elizabeth
Parish doth for herself her Heirs Executors and Administrators hereby covenant
and agree with the said Henry Canham his Heirs and Assigns that she
the said Elizabeth Parish and her Heirs and all and every other
person and persons whosoever having or rightfully claiming or wo
shall or may have or rightfully Claim any Estate Right Title Trust or
Interest at Law or in Equity of in to or out of the said piece of Land
and Hereditaments hereinbefore granted enfeoffed and conveyed or expressed
or intended so to be or any part thereof by from through or under or in
trust for her them or any of them shall and will from time to time and
at all times hereafter upon every reasonable request and at the proper
Costs and charges in the Law of the said Henry Canham his Heirs or Assigns
make do acknowledge suffer levy and execute or cause or procure to be
made done acknowledged suffered levied and executed All and every
such further and other lawful and reasonable Acts and Acts Deeds
Devices Conveyances and Assurances in the Law whatsoever for the further
better more perfectly and absolutely granting enfeoffing confirming and
assuring the same piece of Land and Hereditaments with the
Appurtenances unto and to the use of the said henry Canham her Heirs
and Assigns as by the said Henry Canham his Heirs or Assigns his or
their Counsel learned in the Law shall be reasonably devised or
advised and required And Lastly the said Elizabeth Parish Hath
made ordained constitute and appoint Joseph Payne of Waldringfield
aforesaid Farmer her true and lawfor Attorney for her and in her
Name into the said piece of Land and Hereditaments hereinbefore
granted and enfeoffed with the Appurtenances or into some part
thereof in the name of the whole to reenter and state seizen and
quiet and peaceable Possession thereof for her and in her Name

To take and have and immediately after such Seizin and possession
So thereof had and take, the like State Seizin and quiet and peaceable
Possession thereof or of some part thereof in the Name of the whole
unto the said Henry Canham to give and deliver To Hold to himt
the said Henry Canham his Heirs and Assigns according to the
form and effect of these presents. And whatsoever he said Joseph
Payne the said Attorney of the said Elizabeth Parish shall do in the
premises she doth and shall hereby ratify confirm and allow as
fully as if she the said Elizabeth Parish had been present and done
the same in her own person In Witness whereof the said parties
to these presents have hereunto set their Hands and Seals the Day

By the witin named Jospeh Payne – as Attorney for and in the
Name of the within named Elizabeth Parish and immediately
Afterwards by him given and delived to the within names Henry
Canham To hold to him the said Henry Canham his heirs and
Assigns according to the form and effect within written on the Day
of the Date of the within written Indenture in the presence of
Reeve Bunn
1801 Feoffment Mrs. E. Parish to Henry Canham. Sale by Elizabeth Parish of Needham Market to Henry Canham of Waldringfield of a parcel of land in Waldringfield being a field called Rushy Fenn now in the tenure of Joseph Payne. Half an acre.
