1532 Will of Thomas Bulle
In the name of God Amen. The xxvi (27) day
of January in the year of our Lord mccccc
xxx1 (1531I Thomas Bulle of Waldryingfield being
in a hole mynde andperfyght remembrance make my testament
and last will made inManer&fourmefolowying
First I bequeath my soule to allmyghtie god and St
Ladie Saint Marie and to all the gloriouse company
of hevyn and my bode to be buryed in the church
yerde of all saints in Waldringfeldbeforesaid
to the which hyh alter for my tythesnegligentliy
forgotton& not tenth?paidgeve& bequeath
Iiisiiiid (3/4d) Item I geve to the reparation of the
said church of Waldringfield iiilivisiiid (£3. 6s.3d)
Item I will that my house and lands lyeing
in Waldringfield aforesaid be solde be mmy Executors
& the money thereof comminge I geve unto
the said church of Waldryngfield. Item I will that
Myy executors do make a cross to be sette in the
Church yerde of Waldringfield aforesaid. This
may be born of my goodes the residue of
mygoodles not bequeathed I geive& bequeath
to the discretion of my executors whom I

I don’t suppose the ‘three farthings ‘, to which I have referred in other comments, is actually 3 shillings and fourpence bearing in mind that this Thomas Bulle (is he related to William Boole?) is leaving £3 6s 3d to the Curch at Waldringfield. He also asks that his land in Waldringfield be sold by his executors and the money given to the church. He also wants a Cross put in the churchyard.
