Memorandum – Whereas certain indentures of Lease
and Release bearing date respectively the 5th and 6th
– – – – – – days of April – – -One thousand eight
hundred thirty seven being the Conveyance to James Perry of
Waldringfield in the County of Suffolk of a certain piece of
Land called the “Thorns” situate at Waldringfield aforesaid
and a certain other piece of land called Rushy fen also
situate at Waldringfield aforesaid have this day been
delivered over to use the Undersigned Robert Lacey of
Ipswich in the said County Gentleman on the completion
of my purchase from the said James Perry of the said
piece of Land called the “Thorns” Now I the said Robert
Lacey do hereby undertake that I will at any times
hereafter at the request and costs of the said James Perry
his heirs or assigns execute a Deed of Covenant framed
in the usual way for the production of the said Indentures
in order to evidence and support the title of the said
James Perry his heirs or assigns to the said other piece
of Land called Rushy fen but so nevertheless that
I shall not be required at any time to part with
the possession of the said Indentures or either of them
