I’ve looked at the suffolk heritage direct web site and done a search on Waldringfield which gave several results from the Record Office. They show a number of entries in the period we’re interested in including various house particulars such as Sea View, Rivers Hall, Quietways, Myrtles, Moorings etc. I think they’ve improved their index. Another visit is probably in order. There are also some documents available from National Archives relating to farming during the war years and post war housing summarised on this page. You need to click the “view notebook” option, it may seem a bit tedious to go through them but it will be easier than reading them from the original source. We can get the full documents if required.
