I have also found 1804 Mrs Elisabeth Palesti owns I think from the newspapers the following and the dates were the dates of the newspapers5 Oct 1813 Edward Busk Esq Lord of this Manor 24 Aug 1814 Edward Busk Esq Lord of this manor (Waldringfield with Hilton) 4 March 1830 Edward Busk Esq. Lord of this manor (Waldringfield and Hilton) at least from 1839 Richard Porter Gentleman or Rev’d Porter of Ipswich (same man?) brought 1885 vested in the Rev George Henry Porter of Marlesford owns but I think all the above are Hilton and from your list Brictmer, Ranulf,… Read more »
Sir Samuel Barnardiston bought the manor from John Esssington. Sir Samuel died 1707 and the Manor passed to his nephew Samuel son of Nathaniel Barnardiston (who was elder brother of Sir Samuel) Sir Samuel the 2nd Baronet died 1709 and was succeeded by his brother Sir Pelatiah Barnardiston 3rd Bart who died 1712 In 1804 we find the manor vested in Mrs. Elizabeth Paiesti, and it subsequently went to one Bush, and was then purchased by the Rev.
