In the name of God Amen the xxvi (26th) day of January 1605 and third yere
of the Raigne of o[u]r sov[er]aigne Lord James the Kings Ma—- that now is
I Alice Bennett of Waldringfeld in the County of Suff[olk] Single Woman
Being sick of body but of good and p[er]fect remembrance thanks be unto Al-
Mighty God therefore do make and ordayne this my last Will and Testament
In mann[o]r and fourme following. This is to say first and principally I beequeath
My soule unto the hands of Amighty God the father the sonne & the holye
Goost, on full hope and assurance of my Salvation by the my faith in
Death and passion of my redemer Christ Jesus, and my body to be buried
Wher it shall please Go to call me, at the discretion of myne execut[or]s
Hereaft[er] named. Item I will give and bequeath unto my Sister Jone Bennett
The sume of fortye shilling to be paid unto her w[i]thin one yere next aft[er]
My decease. Item I give unto her also one new kettle of myne, and one
New fryeng pan; nowe? Iii (3) penes? of pewter, one of the biggest sort, and ii (2)
Of the least sort that I have, and my Cone?? Salt saller: Item give unto
Her my — — new peticott land w[i]th five lares? and my little table w[i]th a????(astale)
Belonging unto it, and my little Brasse pott: Item I give and bequeath unto
The two children of my Sister Katheryn Collin, that is to say Thoma[a]s
Collin, and Sara Collin. To ech of them Twenty Shillings apon, w
At their Twenty years of age: together w[i]th the use of the sume, from
The tyme of my decease, until their said ages of xx (20) yeares, and if any
Of them dep[ar]t this life before the other, then the one to be the oth[er] heire
Item I give unto my said Sister Katherine, one pece of peuter & a little pott
And Cup of peuter & ii (2) of my best —mecke & iii of my old petycotts & iii Aprons one
of bea stuf & ii (2) of lynnen more ii (2)weckercheres: & ii (2) coyves? I give unto
my said syster Jone my best nekercheiff Item I give unto my sister Kathe[r]an my
best hatt: Item I give unto my Sister Anne Bennett Ten shillings was
