1631  John Lawson of Waldringfield, Shoemaker (N)

18 October 1631

 

Sick.  To cousin ANNE HALL, one feather bed and bedstead, 1 pair sheets, 1 blanket, 1 coverlet, 1 cupboard, 1 coffer.  To cousin DORCAS HALL, one feather bed,  one bolster,  one pillow.  To sister ALICE DRIVER all hemp.  With regard to debt of 40s. owed testator by ROBERT BRADSTREET of Kirton, ROBERT BRADSTREET to retain 20s., and the other 20s. to be divided between WILLIAM & NICHOLAS SHEPPERD.  To JOHN GOODLADD, one table, one form, two chairs, two cushions, four wedges, two cobirons, one rake, one grid iron, one fire pan.  To brother JOSEPH HALL, the £5 he owes by bond to the testator.  To poor of Waldringfield 20s. within one month of testator’s death.  Residue to brother WILLIAM SHEPPERD to pay debts, funeral/probate expenses.  Witnesses: RICHARD ROSE, JOHN GOODLAND.  Probate granted to WILLIAM SHEPPERD 30 Dec 1631
