R (W)   RICHARD WYNTER (X) the elder of Blaxhall

13 August 1635

I wish to be buried in Blaxhall churchyard.  I give to my son

RICHARD all my free and copyhold land and messuages in

Waldringfield for life and then to his son RICHARD or if he die

to his son HENRY.   I give £30 to my son WILLIAM,  half to be paid

within 2 and half within 3 years if he comes to persue or

demand it.  I give 40s to my son HUMPHREY to be paid within a

year.   I give £5 each to the 3 children of my son RICHARD,

RICHARD, MARGARET & HENRY at their ages of 24.  They have benefit

of survivorship,. I give £10 to RICHARD, son of my son WILLIAM

to be paid to his father for his use within 1 year of my death.

I give an annuity of £5 to my son PHILIP to be paid quarterly by

my son RICHARD.  Payments are to be made in the house of EDWARD

HAWSTED at Waldringfield.  I give all my copyhold land in Wickham

Market and Campsea Ash to my son RICHARD and his wife ELIZABETH

I will to my son PHILIP my best bedstead and featherbed,   The

bolster, blankets and covering belonging to it, 2 pairs of good

sheets, 1 pillow, 1 pillowbeere and my best copper kettle.   All

the rest of my movable goods I bequeath to my son RICHARD, who

must pay all my debts and legacies and prove my will, bring my

body to the earth and pay all my funeral charges. He must enter into

a bond of £100 with my supervisor to perform my will.  If he

refuses, all the legacies to him are void and I give them to my

son WILLIAM and make him exor. on the same conditions

Supervisor:  my son-in-law RICHARD ROSE of Waldringfield.  As a

small remembrance I give him £5.  Witnesses:  ALEXANDER REVELL

HENRY HAYWARD.  Codicil  made on 4 Jan 1635/6:  I give to Philip

my son an annuity of £10 to be paid quarterly starting 12 months

after my decease.   My exor. Is to lay out £10 on my funeral and

burial.  Witness: ALEXANDER REVELL.  Pr. at Wickham Market 28

Lived and buried in Blaxhall.His son in law was Richard Rose who witnesses several Wills Left annuity toson Richard to be paid in the house ofEdward Hawsted of Waldringfield
