Suffolk Institute of Archaeology & History website
The Society was founded in 1958 to encourage the study and preservation of Suffolk records, and to publish editions of documents relating to Suffolk and its people in all periods from the Middle Ages to the present day. By joining the Society you are furthering the work of providing Suffolk records in print for the use of professional and amateur historians all over the world.

There are many articles listed on the website including one on Gosnold. Certainly worth a browse through. We may have some of them in the pile Jackie brought in to the meeting otherwise I’m sure copies can be had from the SRO or SLHC.
The Domesday Book Online – Home
The Domesday Book was commissioned in December 1085 by William the Conqueror, who invaded England in 1066. The first draft was completed in August 1086 and contained records for 13,418 settlements in the English counties south of the rivers Ribble and Tees (the border with Scotland at the time).
