White Hall Cottage (now Plum Tree Cottage)  An old cottage rebuilt in 1973 as a retirement cottage for Canon Trevor Waller and his wife. Unfortunately Mrs. Waller died shortly after they moved in, but Canon Trevor Waller remained there until his death in 1996. Now a holiday home.

White Hall –  Part of the Waller inheritance, through the marriage of Jeptha Waller to Susan Goss in 1639. A Georgian style house built c 1830 on the site of an older house, part, the kitchen, remains of the older property. Built for Mr. George Waller and his bride, Anne Edwards. George died in 1834 & Anne returned to her father’s house Wood Hall Sutton until she remarried in 1844. She eventually returned to Waldringfield Rectory Cottage in 1868. When George’s grandson John Henry Waller, a farmer, married in 1905 he moved into the house & remained there until his death in 1944.
