- 29. November 1897. Shottisham Ford wall near Ramsholt Creek afterwards repaired for £1,100.00 with sandbags & again 22/11/1903 .. broken thro.
- 20. December 1897 High tide with gale, water nearly up to below Deben Vale & great flooding all along the coast.
