Japonica Cottage

There was definitely an old cottage (possibly divided into 2 semis) on the site and this was demolished. Many of the bricks were salvaged and then incorporated into the lower courses of the new house. In later years the Mace’s were able to purchase a plot of land, which may have been an orchard, from their next door neighbours. Unfortunately…
